Corrections policy
Calculators can be wrong. When one is, we want to know, and this page explains how a report is handled.
How to report a problem
Email [email protected] with the calculator name, the values you entered and the result you expected. A screenshot or the shared result link helps. For content problems, include the page address and the sentence you believe is wrong.
What happens next
Every report is read. When an error is confirmed, the formula, source or text is corrected, covered by a test where the calculation itself was wrong, and deployed. If a report turns out to be a misunderstanding or a limitation of the tool, the limitation is clarified on the page.
No fabricated review dates
The site does not add a “last reviewed” date to pretend a fix or review happened. Corrections ship with the code and content changes themselves.
Source and data corrections
If a linked source changes or is retired, the page is updated to reflect the current source. For live data such as reference exchange rates, the provider and date shown with the result are the record of what was used.
Security issues
Report suspected security problems to [email protected] rather than publicly, so they can be investigated before disclosure.
