Calculator use

Every calculator works without an account. The values you type are processed in your browser and, for shareable result links, in the page URL; results are computed on the server to render the page but are not stored in a database.

Recent calculations are saved only in your browser's local storage and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

Server logs and security

Like most websites, our servers process the IP address, browser user agent and requested URL to deliver pages, monitor performance and detect abuse. Logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify individuals.

Preferences and cookies

Your language, country and currency choices are stored in cookies and browser storage so the site remembers them. The country hint cookie (kal_geo_drop) is derived from your network country and is not precise location data.

Analytics

If Google Analytics is enabled we use it to understand which tools are useful. Personalized advertising signals are disabled by default, and analytics cookies are used only where permitted by law.

Advertising

To keep the site free we may display Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message managed by Google's consent management platform and can change their choice at any time. You can also manage personalized ads at google.com/settings/ads.

Exchange rates

Currency conversion uses reference rates fetched by our server from a third-party provider. No personal data is shared with that provider.

Google Search Console (administration)

The site administrator may connect a Google account so that kalkuleyt can read the site's own Search Console performance data through the Google Search Console API. Access is read-only and limited to the kalkuleyt.app property. The data received is aggregate search performance: queries, page URLs, countries, device types, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position and the date of each record. We do not request or receive Gmail, Drive, profile or any other Google user data, and the integration does not collect personal data about site visitors.

This data is used only for the site's internal Growth Intelligence reporting — understanding which calculators and pages are found in search, and where content or localization can be improved. It is not used for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making, and it is never sold.

The data is stored in our own PostgreSQL database on our server and is accessible only to the authenticated administrator; it is not published on the site. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM with a server-side key) and are never exposed in pages, APIs or logs. The connection can be revoked at any time from the admin panel or from the Google account's third-party access settings; disconnecting removes the stored tokens.

We do not share this data with third parties, except with Google as the API provider that supplies it, or where disclosure is required by law. kalkuleyt's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Daily records are kept for up to 16 months and are then deleted by a scheduled retention job; tokens are deleted when the connection is disconnected. For a deletion request or any question about this data, contact [email protected].

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data. We hold almost no personal data. For any request, contact [email protected].
